Our President Street project is located on a prime Carroll Gardens street. It is a rare marble building, rich in period details and history with high ceilings throughout and soaring, including 13’ + ceilings on the parlor floor.
The apartments blended the classic details of an historic Brooklyn brownstone with modern sensibilities; period moldings and mantles, modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The floor plans focused on large, open, airy, light-filled spaces.
The building had an amazing parlor with original details that needed restoration. Still it was magnificent – huge double parlor with original pocket doors, 13+ foot ceiling height, original crown molding and two fireplaces.
